Bio
I used to love making up dances and scenes on the playground as a kid. I would even create pretend rehearsal schedules, just for fun. In the past several years, many doors have opened that have allowed me to do more direction and choreography. I love story-telling most of all. Plays and musicals provide empathy and perspective in a way no other art form does. Finding the seed of what each character has at stake and the way each actor portrays a scene in a slightly different way is a special element that draws me to creating theatre. Most recent directing credits include Winter Wonderettes and Joseph… at the New London Barn Playhouse in New Hampshire. I’ve had the opportunity to work with artists of all ages as an Acting Coach, Tap teacher, and Musical Theatre teacher at places like New York University and Broadway Dance Center. I’ve also been lucky enough to choreograph productions of Guys and Dolls, She Loves Me, The Pajama Game, and Little Women, to name a few. I find so much joy in creating and collaborating with each individual artist and designer. To connect, dig deep, and then sit back and watch the magic happen is what it’s all about!
